About ripping and stuff

So after (maybe five?) months I'm back with a new post! This time I want to write about these things in my mind at the moment, just a week before leaving Italy for The 2015 Pokémon World Championships at Boston, against the elite of this game... "Worlds is about playing the best of the best", after all. Anyway, here we go with some of the things that I'd like to talk in this post:

• "The Rippers"

They are players who stole teams from other players because they haven't no more ideas or they are just too lazy to do it. But that's okay, it's a legit thing to do after all. The bad thing comes when they haven't practiced with the team and they equally bring it at the events - most of because they made it the night before searching on blogs or videos. The only man who can copy a team without suck is shinycarletto, who is the laziest but the most skilled player around here, in my opinion. Anyway, I noticed that when you build teams by yourself you tend to do better at tournaments (strange, isn't it?). The worst thing also happens when someone copies your personal team without say "thanks" but just say "oh I defeated X with this team hahah it's so powerful".
All. Of. My. Hate.
In my opinion, I do well at tournaments is mainly because I build teams by myself and I practice a lot with this and other teams, improving step by step and game by game. People who stole the final version of the teams will just not understand the team-mechanics and sucks most of the times while fighting, ending up with "bad luck this, bad day that, bad opponent etc". The rippers happen to everyone who plays pokémon, sooner or later in your "Pokémon Career", but they will always exist. Just don't share ideas with every person you know - and let your Showdown! alt to stay secret as much as you can: Showdown! is the best resource for lazy players that doesn't like battlespot, so preserving your privacy is a must.

I'll do better next year about my privacy, because I really don't like the fact that everyone can get whatever information he needs about my team. In conclusion, ripping is bad and if you really must copy a team, just do it properly at least. It's really funny to see someone with the team you manage to win a lot with at events loses to whatever shit the ripper has found online. That's pretty much the first thing that worries me in these months, because 3/4 of the italian community sucks and I have something like three people who are testing my team around there without asking it to me - that's really frustrating.

Haters

As I said before, the italian community sucks and haters are something to at least consider to talk about here, in my opinion. I got to know a good example of this kind of people in these days: this guy sucks at Pokémon but he still say bad things about other players, thinking that he's strong and that, in spite of the fact that a lot of italian players says that he must learn to play before talk when you ask about him. A good way to fight haters is to ignore them, if you're a pacifist, but if you are more reactive (like me) you can just prove them what you can do and get some results to shut them up. Anyway, I really want to thank him for saying that "Michelangelo is a bad player" because one of the billion things that help me in my road to Boston is his lovely hate!
He also calls himself "best north Italy's player"... So be careful if you want to choose him in the NPA (I know that it has a low rate of happening, but Just in case...). Maybe this isn't what you want to read on a Pokémon blog but, as I said, this article is about random stuff after all.

• Blog Activity

From the 15th of September (the date when school starts) I'll post contents almost every week or two. The first post I'll write will probably be about the end of my Italy Nationals Report: I started writing it after the event but I tought that I couldn't reveal some of the spreads that I'll may use at Worlds, so it will be finished in that period. My Worlds Warstory will be the second thing to come out in this blog - and I can't wait to write it. After this, I'll post some cool stuff and teams, probably.

Books

Read a book is cool, DO IT!

Thanks for reading all those meaningless things! Please stay tuned for when I'll be back whit serious teams and cool Pokémon things! See ya!
